My fav flavor-

I bought a bottle last of Orange V last year that was amazing, actually tastes like oranges, was great on the rocks and I usually like my vodka mixed. Can't seem to find it anywhere else, but is the best flavored vodka I ever had. If anyone knows where I can find it, please let me know.

I enjoy the idea of Sparks much more than the drink itself. But I have imbibed it from time to time when I need to bring the rock.

Oh Chuck, I bite. Paging Mr. Smith and Tankboy, I know you'll agree with me. Time and time again, Sparks has breathed new life into tired concert-goers awaiting the final set. It's illuminated the way home for countless drunken youths, who simply open their mouths to light the way. And what better conversation starter than a can that looks like it belongs on a space shuttle?
If they only sold it by the keg...

A few things:

Doppler: The Sparks shot is flamebait, but only if you bite.

CC: Long Islands are neither masculine nor girly. If you don't pace yourself, it's a quick way to get drunk. If you ignore the signs your body is giving you, it's a quick way to forget the next two days, or worse.

Orange Stoli: Trust us on our recommendations, especially the Hangar One Mandarin Blossom. If you try it, you won't go back.

Mike: Sorry, I can't stand Effen. That they mix black cherry with vanilla in the distillation confounds me even more. It's too sweet, which is a problem if you want to feel the bite of a grain-distilled vodka.

I didn't know Long Island iced teas were in the same category as frozen cocktails? I thought it was a valid drink to order. Sort of girly, but masculine at the same time...

I don't care what anyone says, I love Effen Black Cherry on the rocks w/a splash of lime. I've gotten countless people hooked on it too.

The local North Shore distillery also makes infused vodkas and gins. Their Tahitian vanilla vodka is simply divine.

Stoli Blueberi is one of those vodkas that's popping up a lot lately, mainly because you get a couple bottles free with the purchase of a case from the wholesaler. I'm just sayin'.

One of my friend's roommates made banana vodka by soaking bananas in vodka. It wasn't bad actually. You just had to strain out the banana bits before pouring it.

For reasons I can't explain, I am fascinated with blueberry Stoli (I refuse to spell it Blueberi). It doesn't even taste like blueberry. And, I prefer rum to vodka. But, blueberry Stoli and tonic is my second-favorite drink as of late.

There used to be a bar in a hotel, maybe on Grand by the red line? Where the bartendar used to make his own flavored vodkas. I'm drawing a blank on the name, Uncle Charlies?

I was there a about 6 years ago. They served only import beer, and the old bartendar gave us free tastings of his vodkas.

Does anyone else remember this?
