Yeah, I got that it was a joke. I guess I just don't find barroom brawls ending in death all that funny ever, let alone in such close proximity to the real deal.

I'm not much of a pet person (I don't have one and don't intend to for the foreseeable future, I travel too much), but I was raised with both cats and dogs. My one sister has both, my other sister has cats, and my parents switched from a dog to a cat upon the death of their last dog, so I don't really get the divide either, both have their merits. I had a cat for awhile and really liked her, when I get older and settle down, I'll probably get another one. Until then, I prefer visiting other people's pets.

1. k: who knows what's going to happen to the puppy? uhh?? 2. e: but you realized it was a joke, right? so, probably didn't have anything to do with reality being that it was, in fact, an exaggeration. 3. ab: i always find it strange that there has to be the cat/dog divide. growing up, i was raised a dog person cause my p's hated cats. but, i'm an animal lover and a dog is way too much like a kid for me personally to raise. i've been a cat mom for 12 years and love cats. i'm a fan of pets with fur!

Sad news about a puppy in Bossier City, Louisiana. A 6 week old pit bull has been accused of chewing four toes off of a one month old baby. The baby's in state custody and no one knows what will happen to the puppy.
