Thanks for the article about the upcoming election. It's true. Public housing such as the Ida Noyes home isn't really taken care of. A lot of the 'poor neighborhoods' remain run down due to apathy from the government. However, I don't agree with all of Brown's statement in the argument, especially the 'wage ordinance.' It's just not a sound economic policy (it has been done before by the US and we hit high inflations before Reagon's time.)

Try to find a list by county instead of state, I bet the other 90% of Illinois that isn't Chicago is dragging the average way down.

When I lived with roommates, we'd usually spend $800-900 for something halfway decent (either located far from a train stop or a garden apt.) $1200 feels "moderately priced" not "cheap" to me.
