The funny thing is this piece originally had a coda slamming Kill Hannah but I deleted it because I wanted to keep things positive. Suffice to say I believe Assassins are far more talented than the KH kidz.

Fact: The Assassins are the most overrated band in Chicago. Boring, predictible pop-songs that latch onto their friendship from Kill Hannah and any other record label snob that sets foot in this city.

(Alert: Whining to commence in 3, 2...) Who is in the picture? I think Chicagoist's new year's resolution should be to make a habit of stating which band's photo is being used in a story about multiple bands. Thanks.
