Does it bother anyone else that 24 is taking place at least 3 and a half years in our future? If you accept the fact that the first season took place when it was being shown, and then followed all the "eighteen months later"'s and whatnot, you'd wind up around 2010 or 2011 depending on when you started. This blows my mind. Where are the flying cars? The rayguns? And Jack Bauer would never called President Barack Obama "Obama". He would say "Mr. President". And where the hell was the Silent Clock for the last episode. It was deserved.

Wayne Palmer is certainly not the Barack Obama of "24". Doesn't anyone who watches the show regularly remember all the shady shit he was doing in season 3? The only reason he's sitting in the White House today on that show is because anyone with anything incriminating on him is dead, and there was probably a groundswell of emotional support for his candidacy due to his brother's assassination (in the elapsed time between last season and now). So, he's probably the Hillary Clinton of "24". And I watch that show way too much.
