True enough on all counts, Tankboy and Mr. Smith (except that Deerhoof are fantastic, and should play "This Magnificent Bird Will Rise Again" at every show ever). In my defense, I've always preferred Flosstradamus's rarer one-off shows to their residencies. However, that could just be because they typically opened for a great band or DJ that made them step up their game.

Yeah, but come on: catching a Flosstradamus show isn't any harder than catching a cold. And I'd rather get hit with deer hooves, then sit and watch Deerhoof.

Shame, shame. How could you forget the shows this week by Flosstradamus, Asobi Seksu w/ Appleseed Cast and So Many Dynamos (this should be fantastic), and Deerhoof?
