I don't have cable, because I just can't, in good conscience, pay for television. Besides, all the times I watch cable at my friends houses, there's never anything on. How can you have 500 channels and nothing on? I think it's ironic that there is this neat little station with all this personality and character here in Chicago, and people that pay for TV can't find it....

Any idea why ME TV isn't on basic cable? I'd watch it, but not if I had to buy an antenna especially for it, and I'm not upgrading to digital on principle.

Here in Chicago, between MeTV, two great public television stations and regular airings of the Simpson's on Fox, why would anyone pay for cable? I love MeTV, thank you!!!!

MeTV is one of the only outlets, local or national, in the entire country to play the original Perry Mason series--one of the most popular and long-running shows ever. Also, it does not hack into the episodes and credits to make ad time as much as is usually done. Many networks and stations just won't run black and white programming any more, so bravo for MeTV!
