• A guy in Bartlett was killed in a freak accident involving frozen mud. Crazy. The chunk of frozen mud fell off some kind of big dump truck and then crashed through the roof of his car as he was driving northbound on Illinois 59.
• A couple of local cousins were arrested yesterday on charges of conspiracy to "kill, kidnap or maim" Americans in Iraq.
• It's The Week of the Sad Dog Stories: Earlier we mentioned how a dog was electrocuted in Grant Park. Now we find out that the cops shot this guy's dog and now he's suing. And then there was that dog caught in the sewer... at least a happy note is that he's been reunited with his owners.
