Poor decision? Um, yeah - most crimes are the results of poor decision making - they are still, however, ILLEGAL things to do.

I guess when I think of "sickos" I think of someone who eats their friend with fava beans, or tells it to put the lotion in the basket or it'll get the hose again. Having an affair with a 16 y old just seems more like a poor decision. Mr. Mueller was my Chemistry teacher in high school, and he was a nice guy and good teacher, for what it's worth. Apparently not worth enough in the judge's eyes.

I hate to say it, especially with something sick like this, but the lack of the word "alleged" anywhere with the Cordova portion of this post could be setting Chicagoist up for some troubles in the future, seeing as how she has only been charged with wrongdoing, not convicted. Just throwing out a little basic Media Ethics & Law for your Friday.
