TECH Cocktail 4: Going, Going, Gone

chicagoist_200703_techsold.jpgThe ever-popular TECH cocktail is fast approaching, but don't worry about this one; unless you were one of the lucky 500 people to RSVP yesterday, you won't get in. Version 4.0 of the popular social event for Chicago's techbiz scene is being held Thursday, April 12, at John Barleycorn's in Wrigleyville, but because of the limited space upstairs, it sold out in less than 24 hours.

They've since posted details on waiting lists and standing room in Barleycorn's proper downstairs though, which is likely to be empty as Chads and Trixies stream out of there like rats jumping ship as soon as one of you dorks tells them you're "all AJAX-ed up," or at least as soon as Ron May shoves a tape recorder in their face. Odds are less than five minutes on either.

No, unfortunately I'm one of those sad losers on the outside. I didn't even hear about it until I saw the post saying it was sold out, which severely hurts my cred as a blogger.

I have an extra ticket as my colleague can't make it. Want in on my extra? Shoot me an email.
