Yeah Chuck, I meant to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your
éphémere review. I lived in Quebec City for a while as a student at
Laval, and the Unibroue beers are pretty much the greatest things in
the world. I liken them to wine because so many of them have that
trappist sweetness to them. You already did a review of my favorite,
La Fin Du Monde. You have to respect the weirdness of the names too,
Maudite (the damned) is a reference to some Quebecois folk story.
Also, it is not frowned upon to order Maudite and Sprite and mix them
for a lighter beer.

Best part about Quebec, universities have pubs in their unions.

Indeed, Fiddlehead Cafe is now pouring the last remaining keg of Ephemere Cranberry in Chicago. This flavor of Ephemere will go into "hibernation" for a couple of years as we refocus our effort on promoting the amazing Ephemere Apple. Many thanks to the Chicagoist for helping us in that regard. =)

They serve Ephemere Cranberry at Fiddlehead on Lincoln and Wilson. I've never seen it anywhere else, but it's awesome.
