Focus on Industrial Chicago

For us, one of the most interesting and bizarre aspects of living in Chicago is how suddenly you can be met with a glimpse into the city's industrial heydey. One minute, we're strolling down Damen, eating organic carrot cake from Goddess & the Grocer, watching picture-perfect families fuss with a stroller outside condo conversions, and just a few blocks away, we find ourselves staring up at colossal pieces of rusting metal and telephone lines.

Focus is a weekly photography feature that showcases different aspects, areas or events in the city.
