O My God

2007_03_thepolice_suits.jpgAs we predicted, tickets for The Police at Wrigley Field sold out in no time. But you still have a chance to catch 'em since it was just announced (again, something anyone with common sense would have forseen) that July 6 has been added as a second Chicago date. Tickets go on sale next Monday, but we're warning you, they ain't cheap.

We got our tickets and had to sell one of our kidneys in order to afford them. Sting had better fricking levitate before our eyes for that kind of dough.

Chicagoist, your one stop shop for every single eensy teensy news item locally related to The Police. You might say we're on The Police beat. Oh man, we kill us.

Just let us know when you are doing one of your Chicagoist free ticket giveaways. I might even enter twice, but I don't think I'm going to buy tickets to this one.

Word, Bill V.

Besides, I know they're not going to use the same PA system, but stadium sound always sucks and 90-ish year old Wrigley might be rough to see a show...

I didn't get any tix :( Actually I forgot all about them going onsale, so shame on me.

Ahh well for the same price as the upper tier ticket I'm seeing them at Bonnaroo w/ like 50 other bands for the same price. And since they're the headliners they'll play 3 hours...probably their longest set of the tour!

I can't wait till these goes on sale next monday so that I can bust my ass to get tickets and then sell them to some yuppie suckers at a 500% markup. college loans be damned!!!
