Mike,

I kid. All my best friends growing up were all Cubs fans, my mom's side of the family (except for mom) are all Cubs fans, and I'm even dating a Cubs fan.

Along the way, I created this hyper-competitive Cubs-Sox thing. I am happy for my friends when their team does something good(anything...), it's just I'm secretly jealous when it does happen.

But you can imagine what it's like after 29 years of getting picked on and all of a sudden, your team wins it all. You go a little apeshit...

c.u.b.s...are you really one of those stereotype Sox fans who hates the Cubs more than he loves the Sox? I didn't think they really existed, at least based on what White Sox fans always claim. And yet here you are.

I heard there is a pool over at Chicagoist to buy the park, but not the team. Then just throw parties every night!

Thank god I'm not rich.

I'd buy them, move them to a retractable roof stadium in Hoffman Estates (complete with painted ivy on the walls!) and then bulldoze Wrigley for more condos.

I'd also demand Steve Bartman throw out the first ball in the new "WrigleyDome (tm) presented by Bank Of America".

I guess what I'm saying is, I'm more of a White Sox fan...
