If you are gonna mention this you could at least be fair and point out del Valle is already putting substantive ordinances on the Clerk's site. The Olympic ordinance is on there. 6 months ago, you wouldn’t have been able to see it. But nope, lets just tear everyone down and be cynical. Huge news! A website was down for two hours!

The author obliviously has never worked for a large company. Although it shouldn’t happen often times bills are not approved for payment or get lost and go unpaid by A/P. It’s probably not his fault it was probably never routed to the right people for approval and then payment. Go back to Michigan and live in Detroit. I know for a fact they don’t pay bills when you are sitting in the city office threatening to reposes office equipment. Quit bashing Chicago. And a shout out to the union b--tch calling for Arnie Duncan’s firing because of the lap top you are laughable and should be fired for ignorance. She is a perfect example of why unions are a waste. There is no need for an Office of the City Clerk. Abolish it, place its functions under the Department of Revenue, and save taxpayer dollars.
