Winehouse Moves to a Bigger House

2007_04_winehouse.gifIf you were one of those folks who paid beaucoup bucks to see Amy Winehouse at either of the super sold-out Schubas shows she was scheduled to play May 3, our hearts go out to you. Why? Well, they've moved her show from the cozy confines of Schubas' back room to the much roomier space of The Vic.

The good news? Lots more folks will get a chance to see her now! The bad news? While all Schubas tickets are transferable, the mark-up you paid buying them from some dude on Craigslist is not refundable.

Anyhoo, to score tickets before they sell out again, get thee to The Vic box office when they go on sale Saturday (or, if you're lazy and enjoy service charges, feel free to buy them through The Vic's website too).

Also, it's been announced that Patrick Wolf will be opening the show. We're sure most of you have no idea who he is, but we can assure you that his twisted, dark pop tunes should provide some excellent atmosphere to prep the crowd for Ms. Winehouse's own sultry, soulful musings.
