Remember when I said that the popularity of the vapid little Red Eye is going to lead to more jobless reporters at the flagship publication? Don't anyone act surprised when you can't get decent news coverage in this city anymore.

The Tribune death count, I mean workers let go, is now at 300. Los Angeles Times will lose 150, Chicago Tribune 100, and Baltimore Sun 50. Additional buyouts coming to other Tribune properties soon. Edward in San Dimas, CA.
