I don't mind the Heat.

Actually, if it's not the Bulls, I'd want local boy made good Dwayne Wade (easily the most likable superstar left in the NBA) to win it all. And pretty much everyone I've ever talked to that had some experience with Shaq (from Vegas bartenders to Chicago cops who would run into him at conventions and such) say he's a great guy and as nice as can be.

That said, I still want to Bulls to sweep and keep going deep, but it's not like they're playing the Pistons. It took me forever to forgive Rodman for choking Pippen that one time. And that utterly classless Isiah running into the locker room instead of shaking hands after a Bulls win. And just the mention of the name "Lambieer" makes me gag a little.

Justin, it only took Pat Riley becoming coach in , what, '96, '97, for folks to hate the Heat.

It only took one championship for people to hate the Heat? It took 3 or 4 titles before NBA fans outside Chicagoland started hating Michael, Scottie and Co?

Yes, yes, they're both Hall of Famers and legends. But back in the mid 90s, the rest of us were sick of them.

Raise your hand if you hate the Heat whether they are playing the bulls or not.
