Flores sucks worse than XRT's choices for every Fourth of July Concert since the one in 1991, when the Replacements broke up on stage. It will be interesting to see who his replacement is. Sneed took a bit of a swipe at him today. I think a lot of people think he's a little bit of an opportunist, or at least, someone in Sneed's circle wanted him to be swiped at. Remember, Eddie Burke and Sneed are old friends, so it came from that direction. But back to point: is he going to be replaced by someone like one of his white ward lackeys of Uk descent, or will we have the equivalent of the Puerto Rican Che Gueverra come out of the Humboldt Park Lagoon? Inquiring minds want to know! (Also note Flores ran for alderman even though he knew the seat was Guiterrez' seat was open). Oh yeah, and to you people who say he got things done, bullshit. I had my car window busted 4 times in his ward, was unable to park in his ward, even though I lived there, because the zoning he allowed didn't allow for permit, and when I complained about the post office, he did nothing, until it became a national news story. Fuck the slippery weasel.

I'm in the Fighting First Ward, and I kind of like Flores as my alderman. Stuff gets done with a minimum amount of hassle and whatnot. I guess I'd vote for him for my rep in Congress too. It just makes me a touch worried who would come and replace him in the alderman chair...
