While scanning Flickr for Focus, People, Focus, we come across many different pictures. Sometimes we choose those that showcase events in the city. Occassionally, we'll select one that offers a social commentary. But every now and then, we post what is simply a wonderful photo. This gem, shot by Scott M. on film (gasp!), has everything going for it: great light, interesting juxaposition of subjects, and saturated colors. Scott has a plethora of other excellent street shots showcasing different folks in our fine city.

I love Scott M.'s work. He's an ace when it comes to capturing the hilarious absurdity of human movement in the big city.
most of the photos on chicagoist are really cool. with the exception of the fisheye stuff. i just can't work up an appreciation of that sort of perspective.
Excellent pic, as usual. I may not agree with all you folks at the Chicagoist have to say, but your choice of pictures is always top notch.
