Um, we're going out on a limb and saying "Yeah!" On May 17th ethel's chocolate is celebrating both its two-year Chicago anniversary and its recent "City's Best Chocolate" award from AOL cityguide by giving away 10,000 boxes of chocolate at all ten of its aera locations (find the closest one to you by clicking here).
Break out the walking shoes, fake labor pains and cravings, or just be greedy like Veruca Salt (the Roald Dahl character, not Louise Post). Sometimes it's good to work in the Loop, and that's gonna be one of those days.

How the (&%&^%^%$$&(#$%^##@ did Ethel's beat out Vosges?

Besides, neither ethel's nor Vosges can beat Canaday le Chocolatier.
Ethel's is the grossest. Like, literally just a huge marketing campaign. Go get a Hershey candy bar instead.
Wow, I sure am impressed that Masterfoods, an 18 billion dollar company, can beat out the little chocolatiers! /sarcasm
Of the top 6 places in that AOL Cityguide poll, only 3 of them are actual candy stores (and Vosges apparently did not make the list which makes the poll worthless.)
