Wolves Look to Advance with Road Playoff Win

2007_05_10_wolves.jpgThe Chicago Wolves have a chance to advance to the 2007 Calder Cup semi-finals with a win tonight over the Iowa Stars. The winner of the series will face off against the North Division finalist, either the Manitoba Moose or the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Bulldogs lead that series 2-1.

The Wolves looked like they would be needing brooms to sweep away the Iowa Stars after the Wolves won game one 7-0. The Wolves then suffered a 5-4 loss in game two to even the series. Game 3 was a hard fought game in which the score was knotted midway through the third period before the Wolves earned the advantage winning 5-3. On Tuesday night the Wolves returned to first game form dominating the Iowa Stars 6-1. The Wolves can avoid a game six and advance a road win tonight at 7pm.

If Chicago falls to the Stars tonight game 6 will be played at Allstate Arena on May 12 at 7pm.

I bet there's more support for the Wolves in Chicago than for the Bulls. The post-MJ Bulls just aren't drawing.

Go Wolves, F**k the Blackhawks.

And I think 2016 is mistaken, the Bulls were at the top or very close in NBA attendance this year.

Yeah, but nobody cares that they're down 2-0. And lost by 20 points a game.

If the Cubs or Bears are in the playoffs, everyone's wearing a jersey. Pretty much, the only Bulls jerseys I've seen are old MJ jerseys. And I even saw his Wizards #23 jersey.
