Not quite -- the full multimedia extravaganza will screen four times this weekend, but the version with a prerecorded soundtrack will also screen this weekend and continue into next week.

Maddin has described &quot;Brand&quot; as a companion piece to his previous feature-length film, &quot;Cowards Bend the Knee&quot;, which had those overtly autobiographical elements (and IMO is his best work). <description>&lt;p&gt;Maddin certainly is a unique director, but that&apos;s not always good. I liked Careful and Cowards Bend the Knee enormously, but have been bored or simply appalled at several of his other movies. I can&apos;t decide whether I want to take a chance on this one, but having walked out on Crispin Glover&apos;s slide show earlier this year, I might just take a pass.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
