Based on my knowledge of the US and our relationship with France, I would hope the artist would understand that he actually drew a picture of the sun setting... But what did I expect, just an album cover for a band for whom the sun sat awhile ago.

Well, it must be a different singer, since I've never heard of Billy "Corrigan." I've only heard of Billy Corgan, the one and only singer for the band.

Unless the newly retooled Pumpkins means a different singer, I could care less about the album art or whatever it holds. Billy Corrigan's voice is awful.
