Well, I think we do have a "Check, Please" effect when there's something straight up our alley-- like a New Haven pizza place opened by the bartender of the Matchbox. Beyond that, hard to say, but at the least, given the way our finds tend to get picked up more widely by other media, we are (in David Mamet's words) "the guy behind the guy behind the guy." Anyway, thanks for the mention and, as Vital Information noted at LTHForum, one really nice compliment.

And further evidence of the internet's closed loop, LTH already has made note of it: VitalInformation calls your description of LTH the "Nicest thing anyone's ever said about LTHForum."

I like how the Reader calls it the "Smoque effect."

Piece is my favorite pizza in the city. OK, maybe Jonathon's beer makes me biased, but the white with pepperoni and goat cheese is to die for. We decided to give Coalfire some time to work out their bugs. By now, you have all read the crazy stories about people getting their money back and how people didn't order, blah, blah, blah... The poor place just opened!!!! I am very interested in trying thier sausage pizza, though!!! maybe this weekend!!!!!!!

LTH is interesting, I just joined.

Piece is ok pizza, but nowhere near what real New Haven pizza from a place like Pepe's tastes like. I hope Coalfire is better.

As far as forums (or fora if you'd like) like LTH and Chowhound, I read them, but it seems like the same 25 people pimping the same 25 restaurants over and over. Yawn.
