Wow, I thought I was the only one who remembered the greatness of the BTTF novel/adaptation. It really is good, and goes above and beyond surface of the film.

I loved this book, very funny, and the kind of thing that lets you peak into another culture. But, I can't see where it could be adapted to the stage. It was a coming-of-age kind of thing, and I think that's really hard to translate to the stage/screen.

yep, from what i've heard and read, the writer/adaptor could have used an editor.

I saw the play with my parents (both from Rogers park). Tt was a loooooong dull trip down memory lane. The only relief was the occasional chuckling of over the 65yo audience members at the overplaced rogers park references. 2.5 hours............
