I'm from Omaha, the Faint's home town....they rock! Killer music, great show and they'll have a new record out next year. If you see a new show, they'll have 3 or 4 of new songs in all probability. I was fortunate to see them at a private show, at a small bar, as a 'warm-up' for their last tour late fall. It was incredible, and the sound was perfect. I understand they head out immediately for another short tour. By all means, & do yourself the favor, take the time and make the effort to see a show, they just keep getting better. And by the way, at 52, I bet I have you beat as the oldest fan at their shows......

I'm sorry I missed this. I've only seen the Faint once at the Fireside, and would LOVE to see them again. I could have used some booty shaking... though I have a feeling I would have been one of the oldest people in the room. ha.

Anyone want to divulge how The Berg Sans Nipple were? Being a mostly-instrumental two-piece, I'm curious how they well they handled the Metro's sound system.

I saw the Faint in Paris 2 years ago, and I echo the sentiment that they are awesome live. But the best parts were when older material was performed. The Wet From Birth Stuff doesn't hold up to Danse Macabre and Blank Wave.
