manu chao is simply amazing. boo for the local press in Chicago missing the oppertunity to promote the fact he was in town. so thanks for this nice review kevin robinson, at least you were paying attention.

i was in the front row, and was completely captivated. i missed manu chao at lolla, but not for trying. i caught a few songs of kanye, and was on my way over to see manu, but my friend was freaking out and i tried to meet her over at his stage, and whatever. i missed him. i was so sad to hear continuously how great he is/was. i was redeemed last night. what incredible, amazing energy he and his whole entourage have. unbelievable. just overwhelming.

Yes he was great at Lollapalooza. So glad I didn't care about the other artist in that time slot or I might have never found out about his great live show!
