I have heard a rumor from two different people that they heard that the Smashing Pumpkins are a surprise opener tomorrow night. I'd imagine that rumor was started by a ticket broker who is about to lose some $$$.

Old men? Let's see how you look when you're 55 years old. Make no mistake, these guys are kicking butt across the country and they are NOT playing the tunes note-for-note. I wonder if the people bitching about the Police ticket prices said the same about the $400 Rolling Stones tickets a few years back.

The reviews from this tour have been a mixed bag. The bootlegs that have surfaced on YouTube seem to suggest the concerts are mediocre at best. I love that you can find tickets below face value on ebay. Suckers.

Pass. I love The Police too much to see them as old men doing Greatest Hits sets. The covers at Cubby Bear sound cool, though.

You can still pick up tickets for both shows at tickets.com. I don't know if they held back tickets initially or what.
