Blago did actually pay the woman out of his campaign funds after initially paying her with taxpayer funds. She is supposed to be reimbursing the state. And this was for his Annual Budget speech, so it also includes makeup work for the cameras amongst other items. A dumb move, but, like the Edwards stuff, way overblown. Watching American politics is like watching an episode of Beavis and Butthead; they never learn in the end. Clinton pulled the same thing when he halted LAX for quite sometime to get some fancy haircut. He learned his lesson and toned it down for the rest of his tenure, but apparently others have not.

I'm amazed that after the Edwards haircut fallout politicians would be so stupid, actually maybe I shouldn't be amazed. Hey Blago my barber will get rid of that Ken Burns hairdo for $20 because no make up job's going to change that creepy 50 year old who looks like an 8 year old look you got goin' on.
