I'd never seen this movie before Tuesday, but it was hilarious. I got the impression that Mel Brooks watched a lot of Marx Brothers and Monty Python when he was growing up.

I saw The Apartment in the park last year, and that was not just an awesome movie, but such a fun time!

One complaint, though: it seemed that the city was doing somesort of roadwork under BP Bridge at Millinium Pork, and about 2/3 or the way through the film, a huge, bright spot light came on, basically illuminating the back third of the crowd for the end of the film. It was terribly distracting, and lots of people started grumbling - a few even got up and left.

Maybe next time the city will know that the city is having a major event, and schedule it's raod work at a different time. Of course this *is* the same city that shut downt he Blue Line the weekend of Pitchfork, so I'm not holding my breath.
