don't forget to mention that this delightful brew is from Downingtown, PA* and has won all sorts of international awards. while i'm partial to Victory's Hop Devil and Old Horizontal myself, this is a good summer choice. I'm glad it has made its way out to Chicago.

* My hometown

Just picked up a sixer. Gotta say this is pretty refreshing stuff. Finally something right up my alley on BotW: craft brewed, high drinkability lager without comprimising on complexity. But I don't think it will be my new standby $10.49 a sixer.

Are you sure there isn't an email address that is something along the lines of we(at)chicagoist.com

It seems odd that I should email one person, when a collective response.

Okay, Let's try this again. Go to the staff pages (that link does work; I checked.), find Thales' bio, and e-mail her the question directly. While you're working on that, we'll work on fixing the link.

My normal impulse is to respond that your "ask chicagoist" link at the top of the page is broken.

No. Really. Try it. Then feel them groovy sarcasm impulses fill them buggy veins.

My normal impulse is to respond with sarcasm or condescension. But I'm trying hard to be the shepherd, #1. So, if you're serious about the mussels or clams, please send that question directly to Thales. She is our "Ask Chicagoist" columnist.

Try Dirk's or Burhop's. I don't know exactly where Burhop's his but Dirk's is on Clybourn near the Treasure Island and Webster place.

Hey, I got a question for ask Chicagoist and I'm not sure where to send the question.

Do you know where I could buy fresh mussels or clams in Chicago? E.g. for cooking?
