Check Out The Windy City Cornhole Classic

You might know it as Bags, Baggo, Corn Toss or Cornhole, but whatever you call it you better have your game on a week from Saturday for the First Annual Windy City Cornhole Classic. Bag tossers from across the city will meet up at Soldier Field to find the best cornholer in town.

The event will have four different brackets including a first-time throwers division, a children's division for those under 14, a social division and a competitive division. The winner of the competitive division will receive cash, prizes and a one-year supply of Chipotle burritos. All participants will receive a Windy City Cornhole Classic t-shirt and a goodie bag from sponsors. In addition to the competition and prizes there will be music, ice-cold beer and food available throughout the day.

The entry fees range from free - $100 depending on the division and whether you pre-register. Competitors can pre-register on the Windy City Cornhole Classic website. Spectators are welcome as well, there is no admission fee but a $3 donation to the Fathers Helping Fathers organization is requested.

The event takes place at Soldier Field on July 28, with registration from 10am - Noon followed by the first bag being tossed at Noon.

just because frats play it doesn't mean it's a frat game. i was the only one at tulane to have it and i wasn't in a frat...

pales in comparison to the only true backyard game: bocce.

Eeeewww, Big 10 fratboys.

What's with all the frat boy BS? Why would you stereotype a game? You two are clearly retarded.

P.S. I will be winning this tournament!

I attended the Windy City Cornhole Classic this past Saturday and feel the need to spread the word, here and everywhere I can, that it was the most unorganized event I have ever been to! People were waiting hours to play a team and were shouting and walking around just to find the team they needed to play! Teams were waiting 3 hours just to play one team!!!!!!! COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL!!! There was not enough staff to handle the amount of people that they let in. What at first was supposed to be 63 teams turned into over 150! It was completely out of control and a waste of everyones time and money! I guess Aaron Del Mar and Articulate Promotions was only interested in the money they would make and failed to pay enough staff!!! The beer ran out and the band only played for an hour or two! A few hours in people were starting to get very aggravated and teams began to leave! Some, including the team I was with, are demanding their money back. THINK TWICE BEFORE ENTERING ANY COMPETITIONS RUN BY ARTICULATE PROMOTIONS!!!!!!!
