Come on, #3 -- the amazing irony of having BP ads all over a post that takes a swipe at Lake Michigan pollution is worth the price of admission alone.

Love this shot, I spent almost 5 minutes staring at the full-size version. i.e. cleanliness of Lake Michigan - the last time I fully submerged myself in it was while watching the sun rise over it after a long night of drinking. I ended up with an eye infection, had to get drops for them. gross.

Great photo... and a technical comment, Olivia: I really like how you've linked the photo itself back to flickr (as opposed to providing a tiny link at the bottom of the post). As an occasional contributer, I wish the rest of Chicagoist would follow your lead on that one.
