...And it's a long season, even with the Cubs banged up the NL Central is wide open. The Brewers stink, the Cards stink, the Astros stink, and the Cubs are, well, the Cubs. It will be a tight race full of mediocre teams.

What a freaking nightmare. Although not shocking at all since it's the Cubs we're talking about. Aramis on the DL is way worse than Soriano. Anyone looking at the stats in the Houston series can tell that getting guys on base was not a problem (30 stranded in 3 games, at least). Soriano led the team in runs and there were plenty of potential runs this week. The Rockies are going to destroy the Cubs and probably the season.
