If you would like to go to church before the event, there's a GREAT non-denominational church right next door to the park, Harvest Bible Chapel. The pastor James MacDonald is on hundreds of radio stations nationwide Yes, brilliant. Unless the Reverend Jimmy is a handicapper for the Daily Racing Forum, no thanks. On second thought, it may be useful to G-d that I'll hit the superfecta.

It has been a few years since I have made it out there for the Millions. Had a great time when I did go. I need to remember to get tickets early next year.

It's always sold out or close to it. The Million is one of the most fun events of the entire summer. Starting tonight, Arlington Heights has The Mane Event going on in its downtown business district (Campbell & Vail Aves.). It's free and very family friendly. Lots of fun activities and bands. It's from 5-10:30. The Metra stops a block away, so it's easily accessible. Thanks for covering an event in my hometown!

I saw Arlington's website yesterday and they're saying the Million is sold out.
