We have extremely large welts on our necks,torso,back, arms( some with a 1" to3"diameter)that itch intensely. we had a family party on Sunday and all our guests are breaking out too. it's HORRIBLE.Benadryl tablets help a tiny bit and Cortaid is only mildly effective. Have been loosing sleep and am leary of going out side. Could they have come up with the cicadas? My only "offense" was sitting on my (heavily vegetated) back deck... it's not like I was skipping through the forest somewhere. I thought I was going insane because, over the past week or so, these bites would appear seemingly out of nowhere... until I saw this news story last night. They are so completely itchy. Gross. Gross. Gross.</p>
