McDonalds food made properly is awesome. Hot, properly salted fries, hamburgers made to order upon your arrival, and a Coke not jammed up with ice. Unfortunately, this happens about 1/200th of the time.

I amazed how as a child, McDonald's was considered a treat. Now I can barely eat there because I am sure to get sick from the mass produced crap.

Every time I get nostalgic for the decade I came of age in, all I have to do is watch actual footage from those years in the form of commercials to remind me just how dreadful our fashion choices were.

It is also the 19th anniversary of the McDonald's menu song, which goes like this: Thank you Wiki! Here are the lyrics: Big Mac, Mc DLT, a Quarter-Pounder with some cheese, Filet-O-Fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a Happy Meal. McNuggets, tasty golden french fries, regular or larger size, and salads: chef salad or garden, or a chicken salad oriental. Big Big Breakfast, Egg McMuffin, hot hot cakes, and sausage. Maybe biscuits, bacon, egg and cheese, a sausage, danish, hash browns too. I can't believe this thing is 40. I always thought it came out around '79 or so. If only they made these things to look like the picture on their menu boards, I might eat them.
