Wow.... thanks Chiacgoist/Olivia, I've never seen "After “Invisible Man” by Ralph Ellison, the Preface, 1999-2001." Its one of my favorite all time books, but I never saw this picture!

I was there a couple months ago... I understand that some people don't like how he "stages" his work to arrive at a final product, but I'm usually blown away when I see his work on a wall-sized lightbox.

I try really hard to "get" modern photography, but I have never liked Walls. I don't understand staging something and having that be the point. (Which at least what I think the point is)

I took my mother to AIC this weekend and we fell in love with Jeff Walls work .... We both would highly recommend it. Oh and enjoy the rest of the AIC for sure ;)

Has anyone been to the Art Shay photo exhibit at the history museum? I like that one better.
