Not great, but consistently very good - not, IMO, as good as some of the company's other products (Hop Ottin IPA, Belk ESB). For those of you that remeber getting skunky bottles of this stuff years ago, that's not a problem. It gets to Illinois fresh and in good condition.

I used to live in Oakland and this is a very popular brew indeed out in the Bay Area. And w/ very good reason I might add. Well worth tracking down ay yer Sam's/Binny's/etc. Very nice to see the label, and certainly makes me thirsty. If you're ever out in the Mendocino area it's well worth a trip to the Anderson Valley Brewing Co., where they make Boont Amber and several other fine fine beers. Bottoms up.

I have vomited up gallons of this stuff after getting blitzed at The Wild Hare. Its great!
