How exactly does a T-shirt firm "sell out," #11? I mean, it is a store. And, these are T-shirts. Is there something about selling T-shirts in a store that lends itself to super special notions of indie street cred? Sounds likes these guys founded a great business. Good for them. I hope they sell out even more. Chicago needs all the thriving businesses it can get.

I believe the $2000 is a combo of cash and store credit. Yeah, they were totally super great before they totally super sold out.

the tees are $15 for guys and $17 for girls. only the hoodies are $40. the reason most tees are sold out is that threadless would much rather continue to print new tees than reprint their back catalog of 950+ designs. the limited nature of the designs is much more appealing than always having everything in stock.

I find it very irritating that half of their designs are sold out...a lot of good ones too, like the guy stuck in the Little Tikes care, being pried out by firemen.

Hey Chicagoist, If you look at the image you posted, as well as the Metro and Threadless website, both shows are TONIGHT. And you wonder why people question your credibility when you can't get a simple fact correct that's prominently displayed for you.

$2,000?? holy crap, t-shirt hell only offers $200.
