<description>&lt;p&gt;its debateable, but i would tend to side that it is art. its no different than any other type of creative endeavor, just a different medium.

and i dont understand the people who say anytime something is naturally landscaped its ugly or looks overgrown. as great as it is having grant park, its way too rigidly formal for its own good. Jackson Park is much more beautiful IMO, and thats because it allows nature to just BE, rather than trying to contain it in a bunch of planter boxes.
