Spook: Do you even like human beings?

You do realize that humans, like other forms of life, do need to reproduce, right?

Perhaps you never took biology at the College of Superficial Radicalism?

I would bet money you are a yuppie as well. I am. And I'm not ashamed.

Seeing as how i have a cat named Pickles, I'm pleased to know there's someone else out there just as willing to give their pet a silly name.

And, for the record, stories like this warm my little heart.

I'd rather read "girl and her dog stories" and "boy-and-his-dog stories", than yuppie northside baby stories. And the good thing about doggies is they have no environmental harm in pack.

More importantly what happened to that lost turtle?! Hopefully Fitzgerald and the FBI can take time off from the Chicago police torture investigation to find out.

Owww How Sweet! As the owner of a 140 pound French Mastiff, Sojourner Truth aka Truth, I'm touched! Too bad we have the name of the cop, but not the name of the brave Chicago Fire Department Diver who risked her/his life to save Ms. Pickles! Mastiffs can reach upward to 165 pounds and because they're all muscle, can't swim for long. And the brave CFD diver had no idea if Ms. Pickles was vicious, yet she/he rescued his Ms. Pickles any way. I hope the Diver gets some sort of award. Note to owner, there are several humane “choke” collars designed for larger strong dogs, that combined with dog training by a professional reduce the likely hood that these gentle giants will bolt out into traffic or Lake Michigan

I see now that Chicagoist is going to load up on boy-and-his-dog stories. Hey, I like a good heartwarmer as much as the next, but do we really need a blow by blow on every pooch and kitty in trouble? Just run the adopt-a-pet feature once a week and let it go at that.
