"They're throwing carcasses in the garbage." Um, so what do people do with the carcasses of roasting chickens they buy at Jewel, turn them into lamps?

"They're throwing carcasses in the garbage." ------- Ritual?? I grew up in a rural area and we raised chickens for our own personal needs. We also killed them ourselves exactly as described above. This is the most humane way to kill a chicken. Of course it will run around because they have very strong muscle spasms after the head has been chopped off. I guess city-folk don't like to think about where their meal came from. :o) I'm sure that those chickens were treated much more humanely than the thousands raised and slaughtered in factory farms...

oh my gosh! i live at north ave & hoyne and last weekend there was a decapitated chicken in my alley. it was the most disturbing thing i've seen in awhile. i would have laughed at this before but after seeing what i saw, I SUPPORT THE BAN!

hmmm, our mass transit is bankrupt, our budget is in the red, we have several cop corruption scandals, a hiring scandal as well as a voting scandal, but you know what I think I should pass a law on? Chickens.
