For all the Obama groupies out there, now's your chance to live next door to the presidential candidate, assuming you have a cool $1.5 million to spend on land.
The vacant Kenwood lot once belonged to the wife of kickback-king Antoin Rezko, one-sixth of which was purchased by the senator last year for $104,500 in a scandal-making deal. Although the land may be tainted with memories of Rezko's impropriety, current owner Michael Sreenan, who purchased the 750,000-square-foot lot from Rita Rezko for $575,000 ten months ago, seems to be banking on the Obama effect, offering up the land for nearly three times the purchase price.
