Body, Feet Found 12 Miles Apart

On Friday, two disembodied lower legs were found in Matteson. On Sunday, the rest of the body turned up in Alsip, 12 miles from the feet. Today, police identified the victim as Michael Cranston, 60, of unincorporated Rich Township.

An autopsy is scheduled for today, and the investigation continues. What's the ETA for how quickly Dick Wolf turns this into an episode of Law & Order?

I knew the marathon was rough, but this is crazy.

According to my wife, this was the exact premise of an episode of "Bones" that aired last week.

Footloose, footloose, everybody cut footloose...

too soon.

I can concur with buskeat's wife that this was indeed the premise for last week's "Bones", and that the murder - in the episode - also stemmed from someone becoming too attached to her "pony."
