No why register he hates them because they brake the law, which he enforces. As a cop he feels that when other cops break the law it underminds his work

Been hect
I'm sure thats your real name. police dont speak out because the mayor and police brass in this city dont really like dissent and hate anyone giving out information that isnt sanitized by them. Police arent allowed to talk to the media except through spokesman. Yes SCC like everyother blog needs to be taken with a grain of salt. But I for one enjoy reading from some city cops how things are. Everyone needs to remember its not gospel but this story never would have made the news without SCC. SCC posts show that clout is alive and thriving in the city and crime sometimes gets downgraded to reduce the crime stats

Dear Ward, Vermin et al.

F U.

No, really. The whole "DO YOUR JOBS," and "THE LIBERAL MEDIA IS IN THE POCKETS OF DALEY AND DA 'MINISTERS'" is the same sort of crap that the thumb-typing knuckle-draggers post on SCC. No doubt you're among them, as well.

And SCC didn't "break" the story. They didn't "break" anything. Someone sent them an anonymous story that they posted on the site -- did SCC attempt to call cops, the CTA, anyone else involved, to get someone to go on record, with their names, to say this was all true?? No, of course not. And how many times has SCC psoted things that turn out not to be true or wildly exaggerated in lieu of any facts? Quite often. Do they have a 'corrections' page? Ha.

Hell, I think the SCC and those who love to say "COMMUNIST MEDIA DO YOUR JOBS" are really in cahoots with Daley -- as long as you point and scream at "the media" the spotlight will be off the cops that beat people, the cops that intimidate people, the mayor and aldermen and county president and state legislators and governor that arrogantly ignore and intimidate the public, putting on circuses while the city and county and state fall apart.

The media DID do their jobs with this, as much as they could while the CTA and CPD worked brilliantly together to stonewall them all. It was the CPD and the CTA who tried sweep this under the rug! True, no one knew about it until SCC posted the item, but NOT ONE COP came forward, publicly, to say "I was there and this is what happened." Talk about being part of the great conspiracy...

Spook,

Duh. Of course SCC has agendas. That doesn't mean it isn't a source of information.

And doesn't that guy hate the SOS cops for being connected?

I live with a closer source in blue & it's almost uncanny how many stories never make the blotter. For example, there was not one mention of the damage to CPD vehicles in mini riot in 010/011 Districts this summer.

On a similar not, SCC has a good recent post about downgrading crimes on paper. Burglary to Criminal Trespass, ect.

Lets all remember that Daley has empowered alot of these "ministers" by giving them a few crumbs from the table like a "cta board badge" to flash. I hope a lightening bolt strikes his store front church and his BMW.

Its great that 2nd city cop broke this story. Of course I'm sure that he would never critique the wrongs in the police department. I have a source inside the blue who spoke about a group of reassigned SOS cops who got caught drinking in a park in uniform. Some how this story was hushed up based on who they were related too. Perhaps he will write about that?

Well they can't offend Mayor Chucky, Toddler or certain people who are in step w/ these "reverends". But that's okay...we have more outlets for information besides The Slum Times! Viva SCC!

As you can see from the above posts, Second City Cop is becoming the go-to blog for early information about crime and reverend-related hi-jinx in the minority community.

I learned about this yesterday on Second City Cop. Note that the major papers are playing nice with the CTA brass and so-called "reverend" in question. C'mon, Trib and Sun-Times, DO YOUR JOBS.

Second City Cop broke the story! So who's the "minister" who's also a CTA board member who tried to keep this hush-hush??
