Im really concerned about how fugly my drivers license is. It is such a reflection of my style and character. What are the other states going to think of me now?!

Because the real crisis in Illinois is the drivers license. Let's see them figure this one out in Pilsen! The new license looks like something they pull out of a missing WWII pilot's wallet.

I totally agree, I loved the matte finish, even though my friends from other states thought my license looked fake.

Wow am I glad I just renewed. These are beyond ugly. I think the matte finish would be more secure as it's easier to read and I'd think it would show tampering more easily. Bleah.

You can reuse your picture usually. As for the license being ugly, its a license, get over it.

Will I be forced to give up my current drivers license? I know that no one likes their pic, but seriously, I LOVE my pic. It's fantastic. People always comment on it. I would hate to give it up cuz there's no way I'm gonna get a 2nd good drivers license pic!

yeah, these new ones are ugly as sin. Were there problems with the old ones? The old one's have a lot of the same security things on them; holographic stuff, a 'ghost' Illinois emblem', barcodes etc... Seems like they just made em a whole hell of a lot uglier.
