That shot is us dressed as the Invisible Man from Halloween 2K4. It's one of our personal favorite costumes. Another was from 2K3, when we dressed as Big Boy.
And now that we've shown you our embarrassing shots, we want to see the best you've got. If you've spent the better part of the past four or five days dressed as a pirate, a hooker, a filthy pirate hooker, a cowboy, a medicine cabinet, a playboy, a vampire, or if you just haphazardly threw on a wig and took a self-portrait and have a flickr account, load it up and tag it "Chicagoist." I saw another 3 Amy Winehouses last night! Oddly, none of them have been bloodied or bruised, so none have been very convincing.
Anyone dressing up as Amy Winehouse who has the attention to detail to remember to wear bloody pink ballet slippers is worth snapping a photo.

Dude, I hate Amy Winehouse. If I see anyone dressed as her tonight, I'll punch them in the fuckin face. I guess, though, I do see the appeal of the costume. It's topical, slutty, and requires very little effort. The Stupid Eye even published complete instructions how to make your own Amy costume at home. Talk about unoriginal.
