You people criticizing about how this is being paid for look pretty ignorant. Maybe you should actually try to find out how its being paid for before you speak instead of assuming things. And maybe the Tribune reporter should do their job - or why not ask the reporter to find out instead of aimlessly bitching. Pricks.

someone made the point in tribune comments, which they summarily delete every morning, that with no bus or trains to see it what is the point.

In the old days, when Chicago had more money than even a Mobster could possibly spend, this might have been a good idea. Ahem, Mayor Daley, hello, we are broke!! Lots of homeless in Chicago. Lets save money until the taxes start rolling in again.

Yes, the overall cost of this project is a glaring omission in the Trib piece. Although perhaps we can help defray the cost by taking up a collection to get Margaret to stick her tongue on it.
